I woke up this morning and really missed my ex boyfriend out of nowhere. It was really weird and extreme. He moved to Colorado a while ago and we definitely lost touch. I didn't think it would be easy to just pick up the phone and call him since I didn't have his new number or his email any more. My Mom was just like, we should look him up and we just did his name (which isn't the most common in the world) and the whole state of CO. We found an entry that seemed promising and we called. It actually was him. We talked for a little while, but I didn't have a whole lot to talk about even though it had been at least a year since we talked. I gave him my new contact info, so we'll see if we ever talk again.

I don't have too much to update with, which might be why it's been a while since I've written. No new news really here! Just learning a lot in the Business Topics in Etsyland and keeping up with some orders. Hope everything is well with everyone out there!

I may have had a sundae of coffee ice cream with caramel syrup; got into a tiff with my grandma; not unpacked as much as I should have, BUT at least I did 2 good things. I brewed up some white tea. I like to make iced white tea. I heat up some agua in my micro and brew the stuff, add some sweetener and then load it up with ice cubes. It is super yummy and supposedly quite healthful. Here are some white tea facts:

White tea is made of leaves and buds that are "less processed" than other types of tea. In fact I read on some sites that it is only dried in the sunlight and not fermented like with black tea. Health benefits of white tea are greater than any other type. Rich in antioxidants, white tea has proven greater cancer-fighting ability than even green tea. White teas are known to boost the immune system, helping to fight viruses and infection-causing bacteria. Studies have also shown that fluoride-rich white teas help prevent tooth decay. Woot! Definitely didn't know about the flouride thang. I stopped smoking a long time ago, but anything anti-cancer is pro-me!

Today is kind of a not so good day already. My Mom said she is going to tell my Grandpa to hurry up on trying to finish the apartment he is working on for her. I feel hurt and rejected, though her dog is quite yappy as of late. I am working on placing a couple orders at suppliers, but I have been stuck at check out because I always feel like I am forgetting one thing or another. I am all caught up on my orders which is nice. Hoping for the floodgates to open once again! Oh, and my cable just all of the sudden stopped working correctly.

Besides that, I have to add more listings, fix listing pics on my site, put together samples for a store here called Simple Nest & Pangea. I really need to get some wholesale things goin!

I think right now I'm going through caffeine withdrawal. I usually have tons at once (redbulls upon redbulls, espresso laden coffee, the like) and then it's like 9 PM and sometimes I will go to bed, but tonight is different. I am thoroughly exhausted. My apartment like 97.5% done. I still have to vacuum under the dining room table when they move it and under my desk. Also I have to vacuum under where the boxes are when those are moved. I have to move my sheets from under the bed and take the cleaning supplies out from under the sink. But after that, I swear. It's all packed. *I hope*. Anyway, all my muscles ache so bad, and I'm going to bed. Wish me luck, tomorrow is another day and another life.

The last time I went up to VT to look at apartments, after an amazing dinner made by Nonny Green, they whipped out the Edy's Double Churned Coffee Light Ice Cream. Yea, that's right. I sound like a commercial lol, but SERIOUSLY --it is JUST as good as my new fave brands and lately, it's all I've craved. OMG, try it.

Today has been an ok day. Had to go grocery shopping which was lame. It's one of my most dreaded chores... but the only thing worse than going grocery shopping is realizing you are out of food. I was lucky enough to hop on a BnR as it was beginning so I didnt need to buy in/spend any money. Someone bought me off so my sale withdrawal ended. I'm getting more syringes tomorrow, which is good. I really need them to fill some stuff.

What else? What else? I got my pay figured out for last week, so that's good. I can't believe my temp assignment with CGI is over. It was good while it lasted. I love research and data entry positions. I'm an odd ball who loves monotonous repetitive work. I guess that makes me an anomaly. :) Anywho, going to pimp another store after this blog. I need another cuppa tea!

I just stumbled across a very nice Etsyian, chainchainchained, tonight and her wonderful shop. She's got a lot of beautiful items, but this item caught my eye especially.

Everything about this necklace screams unique and feminine, but still has an edginess to it since the bow is metal :)

Yay so part of my blog plan was to show one thing from my store a day and one thing from a friend of mine. Well, I'm starting today with Mountain Vintage. She is one of the sweetest gals on Etsy. If you've never heard of Etsy... well, you must be living in a cave!

Etsy is where you to find everything handmade and vintage.. and supplies (but that's another story entirely!)

So today is going to be a busy day I have a bunch of orders to get out there. I'm going to post my to do list on here, because I think it will make me feel a bit more organized.

Items I have to get out there!
2 sweet, tingly minty balms
2 full size HIGH heat cinnamon plumping balms
1 Jaffa orange lip balm - I have one of these already
1 TRY ME size low heat cinnamon plumping gloss
1 full size plain sweetened

I also want to try and get out some samples to a couple of websites.

These shots were taken by me today while I tested my batch of High Heat cinnamon plumping balm.

I think it's clear that my lips were paler in the before shot and less plump than in the two shots of my lips after applying.

I'm going to keep putting up my results with my various products.
